It's an old Czech expression that's difficult to translate directly.
Traditionally, it describes someone full of life, with rosy cheeks, warmth, vitality and a healthy glow. Someone who isn't afraid of colour or joy.
It has always reminded me of traditional Slavic wedding kroj. Bold embroidery, ribbons, flowers and craftsmanship that celebrated life.
This bag is just a small reminder that traditions don't have to stay in museums. Sometimes they can simply become part of an ordinary Tuesday.
